Terms + Conditions

  1. Honeycomb Services, LLC performs all initial Organization and Design Services at a fixed fee for a 1-hour session.  All first-time client sessions include a personal consultation and assessment of the work requested.

    • Additional consultation time may be booked at the fixed hourly rate.  

    • Full payment is expected at the conclusion of each appointment.

    • Off-site design time and any time exceeding scheduled sessions will be billed in 1-hour increments at the corresponding hourly rates.  

    • All on-site work is booked with 2-hour minimums.

  2. Travel of 30 minutes round trip is included in the above rate.  Travel charges will be applied when travel exceeds 60 minutes round trip.   Additional travel charges, including out of the Richmond metro area may include mileage, train, air, car rental, and hotel expenses.

  3. Proper consideration regarding cancellations and appointment changes is expected. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment time are subject to a cancellation charge of 50% of scheduled work.

  4. Clients are asked to remove and secure firearms and other "private" personal items from work areas before work begins. Failure to remove and/or secure these items may result in the immediate termination of the session and is subject to a cancellation charge of 50% of scheduled work.

  5. Additional services including, but not limited to shopping for organizing products, donation drop-off, and recommendations and/or arrangements for other professional services can be provided by Honeycomb Services, LLC.  Time for arranging additional third party professional services will be billed at the hourly rate.  Client agrees to reimburse Honeycomb Services, LLC for all authorized expenses above the hourly rate. 

  6. Honeycomb Services, LLC provides recommendations for third party services and is not responsible or accountable for decisions, agreements, or contracts made between the client and the third party services.

  7. Suggestions regarding procurement and/or retention of legal, financial, and accounting documents may be made on by the organizer to expedite the organizing process.  However, all final decisions regarding these documents should be made by your personal CPA, Attorney or Financial Advisor.  Honeycomb Services is not responsible or accountable for decisions made by the client or outside advisors regarding personal documents.

  8. As a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals, all members are bound by their Codes of Ethics. Any physical or verbal content expressed during the course of the Organization Project will remain confidential and will not be shared with outside parties, unless required by law.

  9. Payment for packaged services and project planning is to be made prior to our first session. Credit cards are accepted through PayPal or you may pay by check. On-site sessions not paid in advance by credit card are to be paid at time of service via check or cash.
